ABOUT LABOQUIDOM
In the year 1953, Dr. José G. Soba, Dr. Heriberto Pieter, Lic. Carlos F. de Moya, among others, founded a privately held commercial corporation in this city, called Laboratorio Químico Dominicano, S.A.S., located at the intersection of Av. Máximo Gómez and Bolívar.
After operating at this location for five years (1958), they moved their operational center to a modern two-story building on the extension of Av. Independencia, now Carretera Sánchez km. 6 ½.
Laboquidom became the first company in the country to operate entirely with Dominican capital. It incorporates all the latest scientific advancements for the proper manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, with a firm commitment to continuous improvement through enthusiasm and dedicated technical and administrative work.
In 1978, Laboquidom acquired new equipment to modernize its production.
